Vernon Youth Hostel: A bargain for 11 euro!!
This was an excellent place to stay - was here in July after having been in Paris for a few days for Bastille Day and so on and after paying 30 euro a day for that hostel and then moving off in a rental car to out of town prices this was a nice relief!
It was surprisingly quiet and only a few people were staying at the hostel the night I was there - I had a huge but comfortable quad room to myself - with ensuite - and then breakfast next morning all to myself so it really was a bargain!
Good shower and bathroom - good hot water and very comfortable bed. The hostel is beside the road a few minutes drive from the main centre but with a very large garden and grassed area behind it. Nice out in the country feel to it.
