Hotel Country Club Fontainebleau: NIce Hotel

This hotel is 5 minutes away from Fontainebleau and 2 minutes from the train station. It is a small hotel with nice rooms overlooking the Seine River and a private garden.
Very warm welcome, excellent food and wine! We had a wonderfull stay. Ideal for bike riding or hiking in the forest from the hotel.

Hotel Country Club Fontainebleau: Best Hotel location

We have been staying in this lovely hotel for 3 days and it has been a great experience. The location overlooking the river is fantastic and if the weather allows it breakfast on the terrace is wonderful.
Food and wines are top level, no discussions one of the best meals we had in France.
Staff is helpful and kind, the owner speeks excellent english, the staff some.
Rooms on the first foor are charming with a balcony over looking the river and a breathtaking view.

Unique Quality: The location is outstanding, surroundings great. Fontainebleau Palace and Vaux-le-Vicomte are just few miles away.

Hotel Country Club Fontainebleau: Greatest in Fontainebleau

It is a small calm and quiet hotel (14 rooms) with a fine dining restaurant just outside Fontainebleau. The setings are incredible: a two story high old building in a parc overlooking the Seine river.
Rooms are confortable, a bit small, good value for money though. Restaurant is great, not only very nicely decorated but the food and the view are both exquisite.
Service in very friendly, it is like being home (except it is better).

I warmy recommend the hotel, do not hesitate one second to book there

Camping La Musardière: The region's most visited campground

This campground, near the village of Milly-la-Forêt, is the most visited in the region. Most people coming to climb in the nearby forest fan out from here. The ambiance is mostly congenial, except on very busy occasions such as holidays when it tends to get very crowded. Sanitary facilities are well provided and well maintained.

Unique Quality: On hot summer days the open air swimming pool is a very welcome refreshment after a day of climbing on the boulders in the area.
Some nights a pizza van visits the campground. In the morning a bakery van also makes the tour of the campground.
