by snedds
We are arriving at Charles de Gaulle on Saturday 3rd April at approx 3pm. We are looking for reasonably priced transfer to the Tulip Inn Marne le Vallee with a return to the airport on Friday 9th April at 8am. Can anyone help?

You can take a train direct to Marne la Vallee from the airport. This page gives info:
http://parisbytrain.com/rer-train-paris-to-euro-disney/
However, if you want to pay out for a private transfer there are numerous firms to explore for quotes e.g.
www.resorthoppa.com
www.paris-shuttle.com
Google 'cdg marne la vallee private transfer' for more.

You have busses between Roissy-CDG and the hotels in Marne la Vallee
VEA busses - every 20-30 minutes (17 Euro per adult, 13 per child under 13)

Travel Tips for Marne-la-Vallée
The low down on the Parks
by scottishvisitor
There are two parks to visit in Disneyland Paris, the Disney Studios and Disneyland Park. We bought a two day hopper ticket which allows you unlimited entry to both parks. Ticket prices are expensive at 103 euros for a two day pass per adult and sadly not much of a reduction for children - 87 euros. Oh and according to Disney Children cease to become children at twelve years young! All attractions were open in Disneyland Park but quite a few new attractions in Disney Studios don't open until later in the Summer. The parks are open from 10.00 till 19.00 Disney Studios close one hour earlier, peak summer hours are until 23..00 For beauty, both natural and imagined it has to be Disneyland Park, such a pleasant place to enjoy. For fans of films and characters it has to be Walt Disney Studios with its almost harsh reality of film sets but if you look hard enough you will always find some beauty here too.
Walt Disney Studio Parade
by freya_heaven
This parade is more to do with films and film making, not so many dancers as in the Main Street Parade, but it is still good.
The parade route is from the Back Lot next to the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster through the Front Lot finishing next to The Flying Carpets in Animation Courtyard. Again get your space 15 minutes before the start of the show.
Picnic
by Martinewezel
In fact you're not supposed to bring your own food into the parks. There is a special picnic area next to Disney Village at the back of restaurant "Annette's", just where the traveling apron from the parking lot to the park ends.
But... no living soul there. Never! Not in Winter, nor in Summer!
This is France... very tolerant and comprehensive ;-)
PETER PAN, DISNEYWORLD PARK
by BerniShand
this is a really charming ride, take your seat in a small galleon and then fly through the air over London and onto Never Never land, passing by scenes from the Peter Pan film, we all enjoyed this ride immensely
there may be long queues for this ride, so use the Fast Pass system to avoid having to wait in line for long
About Disneyland
by sabsi
Disneyland Paris was opened in 1992. Back then it was still called Eurodisney but Disney changed it a few years later to Disneyland Paris - in order get rid of the image it got when it was experiencing financial problems.
It is located in Marne-la-Vallée, a town 32 kms east of Paris. You can get there easily by RER train from Paris or by car from the A4.
Disneyland is not only the park but also hotels, a Disney Village full of restaurants and hotels and a golf course that belong to the theme park. I have not been there so I am not telling you anything about those places - only about the park. I've been there on New Year's day 2002 (a freezing and grey day - ideal for Disneyland because it keeps the queues short!). I thought a day is not enough to every intesting bit of Disneyland but it was. We went on all the exciting rides and saw the whole park and we don't think we have missed anything. Well, the afternoon christmas parade maybe but that's it I think.... We used the time when the parade was on for getting a table in a restaurant and avoiding a queue for one attraction!
I was amazed that food and drink are not too expensive inside the park. I had read a lot of horror stories before but it wasn't that bad. OK the food wasn't great - but at least it was reasonable priced. And cheaper than in Paris....
The day pass for Disneyland costs 36 Euro in High Season (I went on New Years day 2002). I think it's worth it - the park is designed with so much love for details. It also very well organised, the queues are avoidable (read my CULTURAL tips to find out how!) - and if you have to queue it's mostly inside because Disney built lovely houses just for the people waiting. I was really impressed with all that and I think it's worth every cent spent. It's not about fast and heartstopping rides - it's about atmosphere!
