You could also rent an apartment for short term, this is something that is very common in Paris now, I would recommend the one that I know that is called Les Studios de Paris, My sister rented a flat for her family for one week(2 adults and 2 kids 1 and 3 years old) and they were very happy with it as she needed to prepare the children's meal because otherwise they would just not eat.
Their website is paris-apartment-rent.com, you may also find some other options like this in bookings.com, tripadvisor.com, lodgis.com look for vacation rental, or short term rentals.
Good luck, and enjoy Paris!
Unique Quality: They are specialized in Montmartre area, and almost all their apartments have a wonderful view over the city, you can book a simple studio, a luxury apartment with design furniture, a former artist workshop as Picasso or even pick a boat-house to sleep in the Seine river.
