Breakfast is buffet style, very good, with a large variety of cereals, joghurt, croissants etc.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
There is an extra baggage room downstairs, where you can leave your bags on the day of departure, very convenient.
Once again I realized how much can be saved by booking ahead. When we were checking in, two tourists had just asked about the room rate. They were shocked to hear that it was 114 Euro per double and 14 Euro a person for breakfast.Obviously they had expected a small two star hotel to be much cheaper. They left, hoping to find another place.
By booking ahead we paid about 70 Euro for the double, including the very good breakfast for two, less than half the rack rate.
Unique qualities: Location, if you like a quiet neighbourhood.
It is a small two star hotel in the 16th arrondissement, but within a few minutes walk downhill to the Arc de Triomphe and about 15 minutes walk uphill to the Trocadero Gardens with the best viewing point of the Eiffel Tower.
We liked it very much, however, if you are looking for busy nightlife, this is not the best choice.
