Execellent location for sightseeing. This former 18th Centry British Embassy is a interesting hotel to stay in. Although during may stay in 2000, this hotel did not have AC. It was hard to cool down after a day of sightingseeing in June.
Whenever I travel abroad,I look forward to getting to my room, showering, chillin' out and getting ready to explore the wonders of where ever I am........... This however was one of the smallest "double"rooms I've ever stayed in,I could hear a swinging sound followed by a thud, this confirmed there wasn't enough room to swing a cat in the others room either !!!!!!!!!!!!! The staff on the whole were quite helpful although at times you felt as though they couldnt be bothered and that you were interupting their "quiet 10 minutes" sat at reception.
The location of this hotel is good,10 minutes walk from the Arch De Triomphe, and 15 minutes from the Eifel Tower. Kleber Metro station was only 5 minutes away.
