 | Paris Reviews | Tips 1891 - 1900 of 1912 | | Spent 2 nights (2 people) in this one bed appartment in Marais area. Total cost €258. Apartment was fairly small but very central and had lots of good design/style elements. Facilities included small kitchen with washing machine plus TV/Video/Hifi. Only real criticism was limited heating facilities which led to the apartment being cold for the first few hours of our stay.
Great location at a price that beats your average 2* Paris hotel Agency staff were helpful & friendly. FANTASTIC!! the owner even provided a cot for our child. it was our home away form home in the most lively (but very quite in the apartment) part of paris. highly recommended

The absolute best way to stay anywhere for an extended period of time is a home exchange!!! We exchanged with some people who had a beautiful apartment in Bellville, which we lived in for 3 weeks while they stayed at our house for three weeks in the San Francisco area!!! It was wonderful - I was able to be messy, I had my own room, could cook my own food, and live like a regular person! Much less stressful (and much cheaper) than hotels.
the fact that you have your own home, rent free - the whole thing is based on trust (and an insurance policy). It is best to have someone you know who lives in the area you are traveling to to check to be sure the residence is real - they might also meet the people you are exchanging homes with Leave a Comment Theme: OtherComparison: least expensive |
In june many peopl travel around france specialy Paris ; even paris is a touristy city you'll find a hotel without booking over the net .saying that holidays start in june or after june ...the answer is yes you'll be able to find a hotel during june. Theme: Hotel |
A bit expansive for 2 * at 122 eur per night but the location is so perfect . 1 minute from metro michel , st andre des art exit . sometime after a long day of walking and feet is killing you , we just go back to hotel to rest and head out again later since it is near the metro. Great place to look for food ,or crepe. At least 3 crepe joint along the street , On the morning when we arrive , we were allowed to check in early , 9 am !!
no facilities . air condition not working . Leave a Comment Theme: HotelPrice: US$40-80 » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averageAddress: 31st , rue st andre des artsDirections: very very near metro st michel |

after walking all over the place looking for an affordable hotel, we happened upon this place as an accident. The concierge was very welcoming and offered us a room under the normal price as it was getting late in the day.
The room had double beds and a clean bathroom. Comfortable and quiet in the heart of Paris within walking distance of many great bistro's and the Eiffel Tower. I will definetly stay again in the future. |
Many years since I'd been in an Ibis. Very reliable. No frills rooms & service, but clean, comfortable and well finished. Ideal if transitting through Gare de Lyon. We had an excellent buffet breakfast.
Location. Reliability. value for money. €99 for two, per night. Breakfast €7 each. I've been to gay Paris a few times. Once I had the pleasure of staying in a luxurious hotel, with a name like "the golden swan" or some such elaborate ostentatiousness, but normally I bunked in between the kabab shobs and hair weaving salons around the Gard du Nord. While your only a ten minute metro ride from the sights and sounds which make up the quintissential postcards of Paris it is here that you can truly take in Paris as a globalized urban center. Here charlatans abound, willing to sell the shoes off their feet, if they had a pair (shoes or feet that is). The local teens are peddling fake hash with the efficiency of hamburgers at MacDoos, where they do their racket. It's fun fair, casual attire, and a place to let your hair down, take your socks off and have a Stella or two. Leave a Comment |
