Great Hotel - Residential Area
Small but clean, friendly and
helpful staff . Subway stop at
corner, plenty of local shops
right there.
Breakfast was included
We plan to stay again on our
next Paris visit ....
Unique Quality: Hotel Mercedes is located in an elegant residential
neighborhood on the right bank in Paris, in the
17th arrondissement, close to Champs Elysees
and the Arch of Triumph.
This hotel presents a wonderful example of 1930's
Art Deco architecture. The bar, with its stained glass
windows, designed by Gruber ....
Overall, our stay at the Hotel Mercedes was quite pleasant, with a few minor difficulties.
Unique Quality: Very convenient to the Metro (Wagram), several good cafes in the neighborhood, staff very friendly and helpful. Stylish, Art-Deco hotel that seems almost a throwback to the 1930s, but modernized and updated. Very clean rooms and excellent ensuite facilities.
Directions: 17th, about a KM from Arc de Triomphe. Very nice semi-residential neighborhood.
My wife and I are staying at the Hotel Mercedes on Wagram Ave. in the 17th for five nights in mid-April. Has anyone had any personal experience with this hotel. It looks like a reasonably good deal.

It's a very nice hotel, just renovated in 2003.
It's an Art deco style.
