I stayed in two different rooms here: A standard double (one queen bed) on the third floor and a larger double (two single beds) on the first floor, off an interior courtyard.
The standard double was small but very tasteful. The bathrooms are completely new and spotlessly clean. The linens on the bed were nice and comfortable. Also, the room was very quiet. No noise at all from the hallway or the street. There's not much space in these rooms, which could be a problem if you have a lot of luggage, but otherwise it should be fine.
The larger double was definitely more spacious and the bathroom was unbelievably large. I've been in 4-stars that had much smaller bathrooms. The only problem with the lower rooms is that the carpet is a little yucky and there was some water damage to the lower walls. Not a big problem, though.
The hotel has a (small) elevator, a lovely lounge with leather chairs and a bar. The hotel offers breakfast till 10:00am for 10 euro. You're just a quick walk from the Eiffel Tower, Ecole Militaire and Rue Cler. There is an internet cafe around the corner. We paid about 140 euros/night, which I thought was a GREAT price for what we got.
The people at the front desk speak English and are extremely helpful. Michelle, who is often at the desk, is one of the nicest women I've ever met and she went completely out of her way to help us during our stay. She is a gem!!
