This posh hotel has 174 rooms ranging from the run of the house single to the master suite. The staff is extremely efficient and courteous, the rooms have safes and mini-bars, and the kitchen is a study in culinary extravagance.
Theme: Hotel
Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: few hundred yards east of the Arc de Triomphe then a handful of blocks north of Champs-Elysees (8th arrondissement)
The junior suites are extravagant indeed! You'll feel like royalty in the French capital and still keep your head! Prices for mini-bar and restaurant items are as extravagant as the hotel itself, so be prepared with your pocketbook.
Great location- just off the Champs d'Elysee near the Arc de Triumph. Modern hotel more geared toward business travelers. Good sized rooms and bathrooms. Hotel seemed to lack charm of many other Paris hotels.

Old-fashioned hotel, but nice with marble staircases and art work. Was ungoing some work when I was there, so possibly nicer now. Staff were reasonably friendly. Was very impressed when the manager wrote to me personally, after some comments I made on my survey form... never happened before or since! Nice to see somewhere that cares about what you think.
Room service food was above average, but HUGE portions!
Less than 2 minutes walk to the Champs Elysees, how can you argue with that?!? and if you are getting homesick, there is at least one decent pub on the same street.
I will never forget this place even though I technically did not sleep here. Spent New Years Eve here without actually sleeping prior to my hasty, early morning retreat to Charles de Gaulle. Spent the morning awaiting a cab that was called for by a very friendly reception staff. Great help at a rough time.
