Paris Tip

Being pleasantly surprised by the Parisians. Americans talk a lot about their rudeness but I found them to be very friendly and helpful. I guess lessons like that are the benefit of travel. Besides, my fellow American tourists sometimes deserve that curt answer or less than polite treatment.
Money matters

ATMs are easy to find in Paris, there is at least one at CDG and they are scattered all throughout Paris.
Credit cards are widely accepted in Paris, they bring a little machine to your table in most restaurants. Both of my cards were denied in one place so it's usually a good idea to have some cash with you as well.
Cash is, of course, accepted everywhere, the currency used is the Euro although prices are also quoted in the old currency of francs.
also visit the Happiest Place...

also visit the Happiest Place on Earth - DISNEYLAND PARIS! We hopped onto the Metro (at Opera) and took the 45-minute ride to Disneyland Paris, located in the suburbs. Compared to the Disneyland at Anaheim and Disney World in Orlando, the Paris version pales in comparison!!
Oh, and don't balk if you have to pay 300 FF for the admission ticket (1-day pass!).
trying to avoid queues at Louvre?
by Carmela71
Well even if the most spectacular one is the one at the Pyramid, you can also enter through Richelieu Side.
As soon as you get our of the Metro, going in direction to the Pyramid you cross the Richeliu corridor, and at your right there is a little entrance with no queue at all.
Good luck!
Roland Garros

Well, no need to say Roland Garros is one of 4th most famous tennis tournament in the world, and the 1st one on clay. Many players reigned here, Borg, Agassi, Kuerten, Bruguera... some never took the magic sesame: Sampras, Becker, Edberg...
For those fond of tennis, this will be an unforgetable experience. This year it will be from May 28 to June 10.
I have been there twice and loved it.
