My wife and I will be in Paris for a short stay in Nov. We have been recommended Citea Philippe Auguste. We know it is some distance away from the centre of Paris. However, we are all right with this since we have been to Paris before and are comfortable with using the metro etc. Can our fellow members comment on the selection of the hotel? Would request for any guidance on the same. In case this particular hotel is not recommended then suggestions for other hotels in the range of upto Euro 100 or so, would be welcome.
have you looked it up on tripadvisor.com?
Don't know this hotel, but you don't have to stay out of the central city for a hotel in your price range. I just mentioned on another post that my daughter and I stayed at Hotel Jardin de l'Odeon in November for $100/night. It's close to Luxembourg gardens and only a 10 minute walk to Notre Dame. It's a lovely little hotel (nothing over the top but an excellent value) on a quiet street but very convenient to metro and RER. If you book directly on their site in advance you can get a very good deal.
