Hotel Saint-Honore
We paid 480 FF per day for a room that slept 4 people and had a private bath. It was up several flight of stairs and was very cramped but it was adequate and a good price compared to other hotels. This was the rate for July.

hotel areas
hi i am going to be in paris for two nights and have provisionally booked the best western etoile saint honore . i would like to find out how far this is from the eifell tower walking and also if it would be easily accesible to the metro line .any feedback from anyone stayed there would be great

Sorry can't help with the hotel itself. Metro stations are nearby. One, Charles de Gaul Etoile, with the lines you will want to use most. 2 "p"s in mappy will get you the map. Less than 3kms from your hotel to the tower.

From the rue St. Honore you can take a great walk along the quai. Cross the Place de la Concorde and take Cours de la Reine Past the Grand and Petite Palais. Visit the Petite Palais if you have the time. It's a jewel of a museum, one of Parisians favorites and it's free.
Just keep walking on the Right Bank passing Alma Marceau and take the pedestrian bridge across the Seine...
If you decide to take the metro, take the #1 line to Charles de Gaulle Etoile transfer to the #6 get off at Trocadero. You'll be at the Palais Chaillot and have the grandest view of the Eiffel...
