Comfort Hotel Andre Latin: Like sleeping in a construction site
Satisfaction:

This used to be a competent and affordable hotel, but that's no longer true. During our stay in April 2008, we paid 170 euros a night for a closet-sized room in a wing that was actively under renovation. This meant that the telephone, heat and elevator didn't work, that we had to haul our luggage up several flights of a small staircase that was in the midst of being plastered, and that at eight in the morning a workman started jackhammering a concrete floor just feet from our door. It would have been an unacceptable situation at half the price. Worse still, the one time we tried to use the poorly designed shower it flooded the entire room in an inch of water. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
Poorly designed bathrooms, very small rooms, and a major ongoing renovation that hasn't stopped them from accepting reservations.
