Montemartre Hotel
we stayed in a two-star, the Comfort Hotel Place du Tertre in Montemartre. the staff was fine and helpful. the room was tiny and had a small bathroom with shower. there was a breakfast served in the mornings 'til 10am which consisted of unlimited croissants with cheese, coffee, tea and juice for 7 euro each. i thought the price of breakfast for what was offered was a bit high but it was unlimited. our next stay in Paris will definately be in an apartment where we can have breakfast and snacks at home. the best thing about the hotel is the location! Sacre Couer is a ten minute walk away. and there are a lot of cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

Transport from CDG Terminal 2 to Rue de Tholoze (pres de Place du Tertre)
Salut!
I'm going to Paris in April and I am un peu confused parce que I need to get the metro from CDG Terminal deux to Gare du Nord (plus a short taxi ride to the hotel- Comfort Hotel Place du tertre!)is this better than getting off at Gare du nord and changing train in order for it to take me to Abessess station??

Hi,
I think my choice would be made by the luggage I had. If you've a lot then the taxi is the viable option. If you can handle it no problem then RER B to Gare du Nord then metro ligne no. 4 north to Barbes (1 stop) then metro ligne 2 west to Blanche. This saves changing one extra time and is only 100 metres further on foot to your hotel. Hope this helps.

Reply above is correct in that only you know what luggage you will have.
To get the most direct RER-Metro connections to your hotel, check by typing in the hotel address at the Metro web site. The search engine is in English. Here's the web address:

You might find it easiest to take a taxi from Gare du Nord since you seem to have a couple changes and will have to deal with luggage too. On the other hand, if you want to save a few euros, make a couple changes and take the Metro.

Merci pour votre reponse!! Je pense que je vais prendre un taxi, j'arrive a dix heures(assez tard!)- je meurs d'envie retourner, je l'adore!!! Avez-vous visite a Irlande? Il fait tres froid,je n'ai pas vu le soleil depuis l'annee derniere.....hehe une blague!! xx Caz :D
