Moderately priced and clean hotel, two blocks from Place d'Italie (13ème. arrondisement) where you can find 3 metro lines: #5, 6 and 7. Rooms are considerably small but confy to sleep.
It isn't a 5 star-hotel but considering Paris is expensive, you can stay in this hotel for more than 3 days without having to give you salary for that. Double room costs around 50€ and Breakfast 6€.
We stayed for 6 nights at this hotel and we have no real complaints and at the same time no real praise.
The hotel is situated someway from all the main tourist spots and nowhere is really within walking distance. Luckily it's only a few yards from a Metro and so access to anywhere in the city is simple.
The hotel has very small bathrooms. Ours was split into separate shower and WC/washbasin and I would dread being an overweight 16 stone person. You would need to use the toilet with the door open.
Breakfast was ok'ish with the same choice everyday. Coffee was un-drinkable. I don't want this to sound all negative because it wasn't. We've stayed in worse hotels and although we wouldn't go here again I wouldn't say no if it was all that was left.
The hotel is situated in a leafy square in a modern area of high rise apartments and office blocks.
It is very convienient for the Metro and the views from the balcony were very interesting at night time.
