Do Not Stay Here
Our room on the 3rd floor was not large enough to "swing a cat" in. The noise from the street was horrendous - all night long and there is no AirCon - the place was stifling.
We requested a move on day 2 and were moved to a Superior Room at an extra €10 per night. Yes it was bigger, but out of date on the ground floor and had windows opening onto a yard with bins and laundry on it. Quieter - well no Street noise, but the metro shook the room! Thought we had booked breakfast - then got stung for an extra 20€ a day for stale mini croissants and a distinct lack of choice in jams! Generally the building is badly laid out and corridor lighting difficult to locate. The "Upgrade" to "Colonial Style" is a few photos of EXPats on elephants an a couple of pieces of memorabilia. Oh and if you want to use the internet (in full view of every guest) its 1€ a minute - funny thing but the connection is extremely slow. Moral DONT GO!
