Elegant escape

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on August 5, 2012

Just returned from a week vacation with a dear friend. We stayed at the Hotel Baltimore and were treated like queens. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was attentive and very helpful and friendly. The location was ideal , central to all the main areas. We had breakfast each morning as part of our room package...it was wonderful. We were able to have coffee delivered to our rooms each morning as part of the breakfast. I would highly reccommend this hotel.

Unique Quality: The staff went out of their way to be accomodating and helpful. Knowledgeable concierge staff.

Perfect Location in Paris

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on April 23, 2010

I was booked here to participate in four days of business meetings and a weekend on my own but the volcano in Iceland extended my stay to two weeks. I had a very nice room in this 4-star hotel at a very reasonable price. The location couldn't be any better, close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, great restaurants and bistros, and a Metro stop practically across the street. The food was excellent and the staff was VERY helpful and personable. They were remodeling during my stay and there was lots of hammering, painting etc going on. To make up for it, they served free champagne in the lobby, a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this as a business meeting venue or upscale personal vacation hotel. Only negatives were that internet access cost 10-15 euros/day and the wine in their tiny bar was 12 euros/glass.

I'd go back!

Unique Quality: Staff was very knowledgeable and personable. Great restaurant recommendations that didn't cost an arm and a leg [well, maybe an arm].

Directions: Close to Bossiere stop on Metro Line #6.
