Hotel Ibis Paris Avenue D'Italie: Budget Hotel in Chinatown

I stayed at this budget hotel in the 13th district as part of a British Airways air/hotel London/Paris hotel. Location is in Chinatown and it's a real working-class neighborhood. It's on a busy street but it's safe at night to walk around.
This is a very basic hotel. The rooms are, of course, on the tiny side. It's generally the type of room where your bed is right next to the door as soon as you open it. But the room came with a desk and the room overlooked the street yet it was not noisy.
Staff was fine and breakfast was only adequate as can be expected from a budget hotel.
There is a small Monoprix, a tabac stand, and a post office a few blocks away from the hotel.
The location is quite good if you love Asian restaurants of which there are plenty! And they were all very good too.
However, as location is fine for Asian restos, so too is location a hindrance to see sights. You must either take a taxi or the metro to get into the center of Paris.
While I liked the fact that I could eat well and cheaply here I didn't care for the commute. Therefore, I asked BA Holidays to upgrade me to the Hotel du Rond Point de Longchamp in the 16th district (pls. refer to my review).
Well, I'm not sure if this is outstanding but it has stayed in my memory as the US doesn't offer this. The TV showed nonstop X-rated films for free late at night on one of the channels. Please note that I'm not sure if they still offer this as I stayed here in 1991 and things may have changed since then-if you are interested in this type of stuff.
