Good value, Central location, Next to Metro

Our family of four stayed in Hotel Lindbergh for 5 nights during early July. Hotel in ideal location for exploring sights of Paris on foot (most within 30 min) or by Metro (5 min from hotel.)

Property does NOT have air conditioning. Our room was almost unbearable from mid-afternoon and early evening due to the room location with respect to the sun (remember we were visiting in early July.) I would reconsider booking during hot summer months or at least request a room on the other side of building.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, gave good recommendations for nearby restaurants and other necessities. They were exceptionally helpful during our last day in Paris. We were scheduled to fly home late in the evening on the 4th and our Ryan Air flight was cancelled after sitting on the runway for two hours. We arrived back at the hotel after midnight, they had a room available, let us use the internet, gave us directions to the train ticket office the next morning and let us borrow their cell phone charger (we forgot our at home and needed to make all kinds of calls to get home.)

Beware of the prices at the small grocery store across the street. If you are looking to stock up on water or other snacks, take a right when you walk out of the hotel, go to the end of the street, take a left and go about 3 or 4 blocks. There you will find a gas station/grocery store with reasonable prices on your left.

So far I have found three hotels that have vacancy in Latin Quarter area.
1:Hotel Welcome - price 90E (metro: Odéon)
2:Lindbergh - price 95E (metro: Sèvres Babylone)
3:Hotel De Suez - price 95E (metro: st-Michel, Odéon, Cluny)
The prices are comparatively same.
Any suggestions on which one is better than another? Good/bad experiences regarding these hotels?

Thanks!

This is what someone from another travel site had to say about the hotel Lindbergh. Hope this helps.
"
i recommend the hotel lindbergh (at the edge of the 7th on rue chomel, near bon marche store highly - its a small personable hotel-very plain - but with surprisingly good quality - the bathroom, shower, tubs were very nice, the room was large enough for 3 people and we could have fit the fourth - lots of closet space and a good view. very attentive staff - they were patient with the girls who had trouble pronouncing room 44 in french to get the room key - sent faxes and emails for us without charge and made me want to come back. I don't know anything about the above hotel but I did stay in the Latin Quarter recently.
Hotel de College de France, 81E

I love it. Clean, friendly and in a good area.
