Perfect Hotel for a short stay in Paris

Choosing a hotel was a very difficult task. Paris offers a huge variety of places to stay, but as always you want something better for a cheaper price. And i think i found place like this.
Magenta is a very nice and cosy hotel, with friendly staff and warm atmosphere.
The only con that i found is that it's situated a bit far away from all major attractions, but subway is in 3 minutes walk and as it turned out if you have time and desire you can walk to almost everywhere you want. For example, it took us about 15-20 min to get to the Opera.
Rooms in Magenta are small, but have everything you need - minibar, teapot, shower, wardrobe etc.
What is more important there's a very good breakfast (and it's included to the price of the room).

More about Hotel Magenta Paris

Brilliant!

We found the hotel easily & it is conveniently located just under 5 mins walk away from the tube station. The staff in the hotel were very polite & speak fluent English. Check in/out was easy & the staff were willing to help out with any queries.

The room was of average size, very clean & had everything you needed. The safety deposit boxes are held near reception not in your room but this wasn’t a problem. The breakfast was croissants, bread, eggs, cereal, cheese etc. It was more than adequate for us.

We had a late flight back & they held our bags in a locked room for the day.

This hotel is in a very convenient location if you are going to use the tube (which I would strongly recommend) & if I were to return to Paris I would stay here again.

Lovely authentic experience

The hotel is very European, which means the rooms are small, but they were clean. The hotel staff was excellent -- they went above and beyond to accomodate us. They spoke English fluently and were very friendly. The hotel was easy to find, in a residential area, very close to a metro stop. The neighborhood was a little sketchy after dark, but that was just due to the homeless people, who are now all over Paris. There were sandwich shops and restaurants all around, as well as a food store. I've been to Paris several times, and this was an excellent hotel, but you cannot check in with American expectations. Check in and enjoy the authentic European experience.

Robbed from hotel room.

Had the same view of burnt out cars as many others- had the main steal a £130 ipod and £50 in cash and visa cards from my case. Reception was polite enough. Breakfast was horrible and hot food was cold. would recommend a tent rather than this hotel.

Just Okay- but even okay is fine in Paris!

Had an overnight stay during the month of June. Area is great and far enough down to be off the main tourist beaten track but still close to a bunch of stuff. Gard Est was only a 15 minute walk, Gard Nord 25 minutes, which I walked with my bag.
Staff was great to me, breakfast, which was included in my $79.00 euro price was much more then I expected.
Room was mostly clean but the bed spread was a bit tattered. Bathroom was huge and, with a view of the courtyard, I saw no cars.
I would stay again for the location to the train stations and if it was a 1-2 night stay, otherwise would look elsewhere for a longer stay.
