Hi Capisco
I'd recommend
-a day in the Louvre (you really will need a day to get round it, and the quality of the paintings makes it worthwhile)
- Notre Dame (where Napoleon was crowned)
- Ignore the Eiffel Tower and go to the Tour Montparnasse (use the Montparnasse metro stop); the queues are much shorter, and the views are better
- Visit the Pantheon, where so many leading figures of French history are buried (Rousseau and Voltaire for example)
- a walk from the Place de la Concorde through the Tuileries gardens

Travel Tips for Paris

There is so much to see and do...

by Brandie_Ann

There is so much to see and do in Paris. Definite must-sees include the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Arch de Triomphe, Champs Elysses, stroll along the Seine River, Musee d'Orsay (Impressionist paintings). Your best bet, no matter how much time you have in Paris, is to get up early and see as much as possible each day. But don't wear yourself out. You need to enjoy this city. I fell in love with Paris. It is the most beautiful city in the world. The food is fantastique!!! The city is beautiful. The history is magnificent. You never realize how young our country is until you travel to Europe.

Moulin Rouge!

by draguza

"The Moulin Rouge" is a worldwide known Parisian cabaret thanks to its exceptional shows and to its famous French Cancan !
It became world-wide famous thanks to its French Cancan, and immortalized by the painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, has always presented sumptuous shows to its spectators: feathers, shinestones and sequins, fabulous settings, original music and of course the most beautiful girl in the world..

Le Pont Alexandre III

by Klod5

Le pont Alexandre III a été construit pour l'exposition universelle de 1900. C'est une arche métallique unique offrant une magnifique perspective sur les Invalides et les Petit et Grand Palais. The bridge Alexander III has been constructed for the world fair of 1900. It is an ark metallic unique bidder a magnificent perspective on the Invalids and the Cub and Big Palace.

The opera babe

The opera babe
Not too skinny, not too big, what do you think?
I fell in love with this lady. Paris is filled with these beauties. This says a lot about the French, they could have replaced these with lamp post a long time ago... they prefer to be surrounded by beauty.
Good for you!
