Having led a blemish-free life , I know nothing of the costs incurred. however, I'd promise to use the whole amount on the "project"... Hahaahhh.

I don't know that Paris has superstores in this area like the Hustler shop in Los Angeles. But a stroll down the rue St. Denis near Les Halles used to be a good bet for finding a lot of sex shops.

Hi Brett -welcome to VT. Hope you are finding your way around.
Just a little Tip - you have replied here to a question posted in February and the person who posted it has not been back online since a couple of days since it was posted.
Always a good idea to check the date of original post and whether OP is still active on VT and interested in replies.
Have fun on VT - hope you will soon create your homepage and some travel pages too.
Travel Tips for Paris
Well ofcourse see the eiffel...
by zeynep
Well ofcourse see the eiffel tower and famous museums like Louvre.. But a personal advice; live paris, go to the movies, concerts, just take the subway and hang around..explore the city.
Such an orginized city... Despite all say french people are cold, they were so friendly :)
the Statue of Liberty
by JUNLI
the Statue of Liberty
The big lady statue standing beside New York port, holding a torch with her right hand, is copied from this Paris statue.
Maybe, because the New York copy is much bigger than its original one, or maybe, the United States is much bigger than France, the Statue of Liberty in New York comes to be the symbol of America, but few people knows her *mother* is in Paris. :-)
Climb Monmartre, the historic...
by maxovna
Climb Monmartre, the historic hill of Paris by rope-road. On Monmartre there are two cathedrals - the Bazilika of the Sacred Heart and the Church of Saint Peter. The Bazilika of Sacred Heart looks very unusual, it is built in Romano-Byzantine style. It is quite new - the building was finished in 1914. Behind the altar there is the statue of Saint Peter. It's black, and only one leg has become golden, because thousands of hands touch it every day. Touch it - and you'll be happy for the rest of your life. Besides, Montmartre is connected with the history of art. Here impressionism, post-impressionism and neo-impressionism appeared. On Montmartre you may see artists create their paintings.
Grafitti
by tiabunna
Before going further, I need to mention that I come from a rural area of Australia where grafitti is uncommon, to say the least. That may explain why I never cease to be amazed by the grafitti in Paris - not the content or 'artistic quality', so much as the sheer inventiveness of the perpetrators in creating it in unlikely places. It's easy to imagine it appearing on a wall at ground level, but how does it come to be on the tops of buildings, where both access and a ladder would seem necessary? Or (see second photo) plastering it all over delivery vans, something I'd never before seen. VT goes worldwide, so if grafitti should be the same where you live, please just be tolerant and accept that this tip may merely show that I'm just a country boy!
Riding Rides
by DEBBBEDB
After we left the Louvre, we walked down to the Place de la Concorde to see the big ferris wheel. We talked our son out of riding that (I thought it looked rickity) by buying him cotton candy (bribery - works wonders). We also allowed him one of the indoor rides
