Not what it looks like on website
We booked this place based on foders or the other book and looked at it on their website. When we arrived, it was a different place. July 16, height of tourist season and under renovation. Lobby was tired to begin with, with all the construction stuff, it was awful. The sitting rooms were worn out, a bar that never opened. The rooms were small and in Paris, thats the norm, but, the bathrooms were in need of updating, cracked tiles, discolored tubs etc. We found the staff, particularly a young lady at the desk daytime to be consistently unhelpful. Its as if she knew less than we did about the surrounding area. Breakfast was ok, small and very hot room but not bad. There was a small courtyard off the lobby that would have been great for a coffee or cocktail but again full of construction debris, again, who renovates in high season? They made themselves look far worse than they could have and there are a million small hotels right around them that all looked great. I would never stay here again and never recommend them to anyone.
