Well, this hotel from the outside looked very cosy when it poured with rain and the heavens opened up on me after 31 hours of flying.. even beckoned to me like a warm fireplace would to a cat..
The receptionist seemed nice enough, even had casual conversation with the bloke!.. But it all began when i saw the view. All i had was a white brick wall. Never mind i said to myself.. things would improve (I always do this.. sort of a positive thinking attitude i have).
Didnt work though.
As soon as we try to catch up on some rest (my girlfriend and I) we realised the temp. just kept reaching up and up for the sky. So, me being the man in the room, I try to fix it! NO SWITCH.... so... we had to keep the windows open EVERY DAY AND NIGHT.
The breakfast parlour... well it was free, that was the only good thing about it. The woman working there, well, ill give her the nicest description I can..
Ignorant.
So, this got worse day by day, I was YELLED at by the receptionist for not understanding his broken english, they even had YOUNG KIDS on the reception.. OK if for an hour or so.. but all day, for many days!
I had planned on staying for 19 nights. I changed my flight and left for Hong Kong in 8.
