As you leave the Gare du Nord there are plenty of cheap hotels across the road. It is easy access from there into central Paris. Bonne chance.
Hi all,
Can anyone advise me the cheapest means to travel from Gare du Nord to CDG, to and fro for 4 days? Is there a week ticket and what will be the rate? Is the Hotel Saint Quentin, 27 Rue St Quentin, Paris, Paris, France, 75010 in a safe neighbourhood? Is area around Gare Du Nord safe to walk in the evenings? Appreciate your advises.

The metro passes are pretty expensive - you would need to do a lot of riding to make them pay.
There is a bus from Gare de l'est or Gare du Nord (?) to CDG Airport
Bus 350 or 351 ?
Cost = 3 tickets
Duration = 60 to 90 minutes depending of the traffic
If you take RER B to CDG, it will take you 40-50 min to reach the airport. If you want additional tips while staying in Paris, I recommend youloveparis.com
The area is generally safe because it is often crowded: gare du Nord and gare de l'est.
if you stay here try to see the Passage Brady.
Hi Tom
and VT'er Nygaston (aka Tom) is the best tour guide in Paris. Tom - have you seen my home page since I met you in June? Deb and I really do thank you for all the help you gave us.
