Hotel de Beaune

I would not under any circumstances recommend this hotel!

Their poor service started before I even got there. I called the hotel to see if they had a shuttle from the airport, and was told no, and the employee didn't make any recommendations. So when I arrived I ended up taking a cab to the hotel that was about 60 USD. While I was waiting to check in, I noticed a large yellow sign on the desk proclaiming they'd set up shuttle service for you to the airport for about 25-30 USD!

I arrived a little early, and my room wasn't ready (which of course is okay), and was offered to leave my luggage at the hotel, so I could walk around the neighborhood. The 'storage' area for guests' luggage was the unsecured back area of the lobby where anyone could go through your luggage.

When I got to my room I was dismayed to find out they did not have wireless internet, as I was under the impression they did. I went to the lobby to talk to the receptionist and was informed that they did not have wireless but I could use the computer in the lobby. There is only one computer and the receptionist also uses it! Because I could not be without wireless internet during my trip for work purposes, I made reservations at another hotel, and informed them I would be checking out. I was then charged about 150 USD for the privilege of sitting my luggage in one of their rooms for about an hour.
