Place des Vosges
by BeausoleilThe hotel was very friendly, clean and well situated although I prefer to be a little closer to a Metro stop. There are many wonderful shops and restaurants in the area and of course, the art galleries on the Place.
The Place des Vosges is one of the most magical parts of Paris. It's a great place to go relax in the evenings or even take a break in the afternoon and watch the Parisians with their children.
You can walk to many of the major tourist sites and if you head the other direction, you can avoid the major tourist sites. Depends on what interests you!
Be mindful that you must climb a short flight of steps to get to the world's smallest elevator.
