I reserved a room in the Fourcy but when I checked in found out they had moved me down the street to the Fauconnier. No big deal. The front desk staff were great checking me in (I did have a meany later that afternoon, though). The hostel is quiet and mostly filled with school groups, in my case 14 year olds. It is not a party hostel. I think it is ideal for solo women travelers. The room was great, mine slept 6, with 2 showers and sinks. The toilet is down the hall and does not stock soap, so bring your own! They have a place to leave your luggage and a free locker for valuables. Breakfast was good, a hunk of bagette, a squished croissant, butter, jam, and hot chocolate that was to die for or coffee. Bed was good with extra balnkets available. The pillow was funny though, like a rolled up mattress covered with a sheet! I paid 28euro plus a 2 euro for a yearly member card (which i think is a scam) There is no commom area.
