If there is two of you or more, this hotel is very cute, in a great location behind Notre Dame, and for between 35 and 49 euro a night per room(app) is excellent value in a city where a bed in a hostel can cost you 30 euro! Lots of stairs, friendly staff, some rooms with balcony's and new bathrooms, creaky floors, peeling wallpaper, window shutters somehow make for a charming and individual stay! We loved it here! It is a very safe area too, residential without too many othere tourists!
Hidden in le Marais district in Paris, l'Hôtel Bourg-Tibourg is named after the small street on which it is located. The relatively small building was decorated by the celebrated interior designer, Jacques Garcia, famous for many projects, among them Hôtel Costes in Paris, Hôtel Metropole in Monaco, and Spice Market Restaurant in New York. His talent for harmoniously blending various fabrics and designs is evident at this 3-star hotel with a Venetian inspired look. Beware though, the rooms are tiny, which is not at all unusual in Paris. But you can except a beautifully decorated room and rather good service at a convenient location. Breakfast is served in the cellar with vaulted ceilings.
