AWFUL

Terrible (1.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on January 8, 2009

initially had trouble getting to the room as corridors are only about 50cm wide, i even had to walk sideways down the corridor its that narrow, room is tiny, tatty, dusty and smelly , toilet is in a tiny room, hidden behind sliding metal doors not unlike a sports locker, could barely fit into shower , th eplace is badged as romantic and old style however it ssimply awful, can even hear people talking in th eroom next door, also totally overpriced compared to better options out there

Unique Quality: staff are good, location is good, but there are dozens of hotels in same area

Directions: tourist area

HOTEL DU GLOBE

by written on September 7, 2002

The price depends on the size of the room. The average price is 60 Euros (normal price : 100 Euros for a 2 stars in this district).

Unique Quality: The building is ancient (17° Century) but clean and well renovated. There are few rooms but each has a shower. They are small and some of them even tiny with the bath is a cupboard (I am not kinding). So it is one of the cheapest accomodation of Paris.

Directions: 15 rue des 4 Vents -6° arrt - Metro : St Germain des Prés. In the Paris center, in the touristic area of St Germain (nightlife, restaurants, cinemas, universities)
