Location - location - location
If you want to see Paris from inside Paris my recommendation is the Hotel du Lys in the Latin quarter. A short walk from virtually everything (from Notre Dame to the Louvre) this small 20-room old hotel (breakfast included) is a perfect place to stay.
Tall and skinny with no lift, you may have to walk many-many-many steps to your room, but the ambiance is truly wonderful ..
Unique Quality: Ancient hotel ... old-world ambiance ... in the heart of the Paris you'll want to see ...
