When we arrived at the hotel, we got a lot of stares. Positive or negative, who's to know. The workers were somewhat rude. We did not feel welcome at all and I think a lot had to do with how we were dressed. They basically judged us by out appearance.
At the time, a train strike was going on, we had asked the concierge for assistance. They questioned us..."Are you guests here?"
Perhaps, if you are chic, and overly groomed, you will get better service..perhaps even a friendly smile instead of a sneer.
Oh well, didn't bother me much. We spent most of our time in Paris, sight-seeing!
They had everything you could probably want and need if you were on a business trip. Overall, it was a nice, clean, comfortable hotel. Pretty expensive though.
