Hyatt Regency Paris Madeleine: Beautifully in the heart of Paris

The bathroom ....hehe

It was a wonderful experience as my stay was upgraded to executive suite ;-) ....the fitness facility comes with a hammam room (steam room), gym and sauna ...but obviously the mission part is jacuzzi (sigh). But that is being complemented by the pure good tea infusion in the gym where you can sip a freshly boiled cup of green tea or rose petal after sweating in the steam room .
The design is typical Hyatt hotel I must say ...but of course no complain especially when the window opens up to the busy Boulevard Malesherbes ....where I would often stand by the window just watching people of Paris ...and savour each passing moment ...

I was not expecting much as this is a Regency Class from Hyatt. The front desk was small but the service was excellent ! Who said the french were arrogrant ? The front desk staff was extremely polite and kept on apologising that my room was not ready (I arrived at 8.30am). She recommended I go for breakfast and she will try to work something out. I went for a walk outside the hotel and my room was ready by 11am.
THe room was very nice though it faced the blvb. It was winter and I could not open the window as the noise from the road was quite bad. Once the double glazed window is closed, you could not hear a thing .
The rooms had high ceiling and the bed was super ! TV Programme was quite bad with only 2 english channel. However, the rain bath was excellent having been soaking in the Paris Winter Rain.
The food in the Hotel Restaurant was super. I ordered Foie Gras and a beef shank cooked in Black Truffle reductions. Super !
Directions: Closest Train Station will be at Opera or at Place de la Concorde. Walk towards the Temple of Madeleine and you cannot miss it . Located in the middle of Boulevard Malesherbes.
