I guess it's an Art Deco thing...
The first impression of my room was "You've got to be kidding." For a four star hotel, I was expecting at least colors that are pleasing to the eye. The room didn't look anything like the website. This was the ugliest hotel room I have ever seen, and I'm a very positive person with a sense of humor. I hope they have rennovated since August 2002.
The rest of the hotel was charming with friendly, helpful staff.
Unique Quality: The location is ideal, near to several embassies. There are also many upscale shops within walking distance. Don't miss the complimentary breakfast.
