Nice hotel in Paris
After spending my first five nights sleeping on trains and some less than pleasant hostels, I welcomed the Hotel Ibis. I slept well and found the place to be very clean with very hospital service.
If you are willing to spend in the $75-$95 range, then I recommend staying here. The Ibis hotels are at multiple locations all over Paris and you can book online (www.ibishotel.com). I stayed at one near the Eiffel tower that was about one or two blocks from the subway.
