easy when needing a night at airport onair connections or trains TGV like me, its very convenience. Also easy on and off, so a visit to Paris proper is within means.
One of the smallest rooms I ever had in France, bath tight too. for a one nighter at the airport ok, very easy to get to and out, CDGVAL inter terminal trains at your doorsteps, and RER B as well: full four restaurants and bar, sud et cie is nice if both hotels and restaurant a bit pricey for an airport joint.
Unique Quality: easy on and off at Roissypole, T3 going out of RER train and connected to all terminals with the little train CDGVAL running 24/24 hrs. It has wifi, 4 restaurants ,bar, terrace, and paying interior parking.
Directions: from TGV station take the CDGVAl train to terminal 2F and go down to T3 ,the hotel will be on your way out.
We always stay at the Ibis hotel at the airport the night before we fly back to the US from Paris.
Unique Quality: The rooms are small but clean. The hotel location is great because it is right next to the RER station and there is a free shuttle that takes you directly from the hotel to the airport.
The buffet breakfast in the morning is excellent.
The price of the hotel room is reasonable.
Directions: next to T3 parking lot.
When you arrive at the airport, if you are driving, follow the sign that says "RoissyPole". It will take you to the Ibis hotel.
I always trust Ibis hotels though they may not always be the cleanest place you can put up at. Nevetheless, Ibis are one of the more affordable places in Paris, theres a whopping 30 hotels alone in the capital! On the last night, we stayed at Ibis La Fayette but it isnt exactly near the latter itself. Nearest metro is Poissonnaire(name sounds very intimidating!), two stations away from the posh Gallerie La Fayette. Gard Du Nord(the north station)is bloody near, so you will defintely have enough time to catch the Eurostar back even if you havent got time to pack!
I´m hoping to book flights soon, and I noticed that Easyjet leaves from Paris at 6.45 (morning!!) If we do book the flights, is there are cheap opinion tp stay close to hotel? Of course I will start to search from Booking and such, but sometimes those small cheap ones aren´t there. Last time I was in paris, it was by train, so I have no idea what kind of area the airport is in.
Many times, but I can't guarantee 100%, Etap and ibis are close (and cheap)
O.k. Great! I do have a-club card also, but I haven´t check them. Thank´s!
You are welcome and enjoy Paris!
Probably the most economic inside the CDG Terminal area is the Hotel Ibis Charles de Gaulle Aéroport / Terminal, located at Roissypole (terminal 3).
"Ideally situated opposite Terminal 3, at the RER Roissy 1 exit, the Ibis is linked to Terminals 1/2 and the TGV station by the CDGVAL (24-hour automatic metro)."
Thanks to you also! :) Now I only wait, that my husband will have time to ask his boss, if we could book those flights! I´m nervous, because there reads "only 4 seats left" in many of those dates witch are cheap.. Than God I don´t need to ask anyone, I AM my boss :D
