Good location, good value
by empee3
We stayed here for 3 nights at an Internet special rate of 60 Euros per night, excluding the 7 Euro open buffet breakfast. The hotel premises and room are very clean. Location is very decent and safe. It is within walking distance to restaurants, bars and the Sacre-Coeur.
The open buffet breakfast for 7 Euros per person is OK, as it had no variety. Only one type of cheese, meat and bread. We thought that they could do better for the price.
Also we had a room for two persons, but the room had only 2 medium sized towels. Normally, there should have been 2 towels for each person. The reception staff was very reluctant to give extra towels, when we asked for it. Furthermore, storage of luggage costs also extra.

O pessoal do hotel é extremamente solícito. Peça um mapa e feliz estada.
An excellent hotel in the romantic and exciting Montmartre, a few steps to Moulin Rouge (the most famous Paris cabaret). The rooms are clear and clean and the price... Well you can find another cheaper, but this is a Ibis.
Unique Quality: Ther´s not great views, but you´re near to a subway station , cafés and restaurants.
Just a problem: The hotel are close to Montmarte´sCemetery.
Directions: Montmartre.

Good location
by Alberto70
The Ibis hotel Montmartre St. Lazare is a good choice especially for the location and of good standard. It is in Montmartre, close to Moulin Rouge, 100 meters from the Metro and to a number of Brasseries and bars that are open until late. The room is pretty small and clean and the continental breakfast is nice (for 6.50 euros). Note that the public parking is 50 meters away and it will cost you 20 euros per day. I paid 89 euros for a double room but during the weekend is 75

good clean affordable accommodation
by LizD
The Ibis hotels offer a good standard of clean and affordable accommodation. We have stayed in a few. This one is no exception
We chose the location, as Montmartre is one of my favourite places. Turn left out of the hotel and you are soon on the pretty streets at the lower end of Montmarte. Turn right and you are by the metro, several restaurants, an Irish Bar and the Moulin Rouge.
Excellent location.
The rooms are a good size and very clean.
The dining room serves a good standard of breakfast.
We have stayed here twice now and found the staff very helpful.
Weekend rates as at June 2004 E75 per double room
Unique Quality: location
Affordable
Clean & comfortable.

by sheherezad about Ibis Paris Montmartre at Place de Clichy
I stayed at the Ibis Monmartre at Place de Clichy when I last visited Paris in 2002 and 2004 - very nice for a reasonable price. Has nice restaurant and is walking distance to the Opera, Galleries Lafayette and lots of restaurants nearby. Very central location, easy access to public transport. Lota of restaurants and shops nearby.

Ibis Montmartre facilities!
by mani8kgm
We are staying here for a week- would anyone know if they have tea/coffee facilities in the room? Is the water in the taps safe to drink and lastly (!) will they provide an iron or shall I carry my own?
Thank you!

Am writing this from an Ibis in France. Irons have been available from the check-in desk at each Ibis we have used (4 in the last week) and there has not been any Tea/Coffee making stuff.
