Ideally located for Sacre Coeur and the Montmartre area (5 mins walk from Sacre Coeur) and is 5 mins walk from metro station Anvers. Hotel is basic but clean. Although the surrounding area is not the most beautiful place, quite rough looking. There were a few nice restaurants in the area, but not a massive choice. But the hotel itself is comfortable, secure and quiet. Rooms have ensuite bathroom, again, clean, and towels changed daily. Lift was very small, only big enough for 1 person with bags. Has a small bar and breakfast area. Snacks are available.
The room was quiet, without street noise because it had a patio.Take it into account. The elevator is good for a couple of...beloved ones.Being inside 3 people is like the underground in rush hours.
Ibis sacre coeur is fairly cheap at 75 euros a night, it is also in a good locality close to many bars and restaurants (look out for the bar whose bar is made out of an old aeroplane wing). Their was a nice view from the top floor of paris and the eiffel tower. However, the staff weren't particulary friendly, even though I spoke to them politely in french. It also has a somewhat small lift and a disabled toilet in reception. At the time of visit (April 2005) there were roadworks outside and the noise may be intrusive on the lower floors.
Seconds away from the Sacre coeur, Good proximity to metro station. Great views from one side of the top floor. Rude staff.
