Take a boat tour on the Seine....

Take a boat tour on the Seine. You'll get a good overview of the city to find out where the sights are and where you want to go back to see more. One night on the way back to the hotel, we stopped in at the corner store to pick up a bottle of wine and cookies to cap off the night. Since we didn't have a bottle opener, we asked the store clerk if he could open it for us. 'No problem,' he says and just happens to have a corkscrew handy. But the cork, she was stubborn! He couldn't get it out. My fiance tried and he couldn't get it either. By this time, a line was building up behind us. So we passed the bottle down the line until somebody had the strength to finish the job! We all laughed and we left after many Mercis.
Musee Rodin

Flowers in bloom aren't necessary in order to enjoy the gardens here at Musee Rodin. Inside, of course, you find some wonderful sculptures by the artist and his contemporaries; outside, you may wander the paths and marvel at some truly fab neighborhood architecture!
La Petite Ceinture
by Klod5
La Petite Ceinture (The Small Belt) was a line of train that surrounded Paris. It has been closed, but it remains numerous traces again, especially in the XX th precinct.
To see the coffee installed in the former station absolutely. All this scenery, forsaken urban are invested all over again by many artists.
When you enter the bistros,...
by Mitchell1955
When you enter the bistros, boulangerie, charcuterie, patisserie, ticket booths, etc.... be sure to say hello (bonjour) ... and after your business is complete do say good-bye (bonne journee or au revoir). It really helps, is expected, and is much more pleasant than the 'whaddya want' attitude of most clerks and store owners here.
Skate or watch
by Dee22
Paris is a nice place for rollerbladers. Unfortunately I haven't had the pleassure of bringing my skates there yet, but I hope to do so soon!
But around town, you'll get the chance to see some really good skaters make their own little shows on open squares. This photo is from a square just beside 'Louvre', and the Trocadéro-area in front of the Eiffel-Tower is very popular among 'show-skaters' where they do their drills on the slightly vertical streets.
Besides that I know that there are huge rollerskate-runs every friday nigth (all year) from the Montparnasse Tower and around town. About 4000 skaters participate and goes on from 22:00-01:00. Haven't experienced this myselt yet, but will make it's own tip when I do so...
Look at the website for information in english!
Another interesting rollerskating-fact is that there are actually policemen wearing rollerskates! I saw a pair of these 'roller cops' around the Les Halles area :) If you want to get rolling you natuarlly have to bring your own skates. If you want to buy some skates in Paris, look for the GO SPORT shops. You can't find a big one in Les Halles.
