Not a really 5* luxuries services or atmosphere. Although we've booked 2 rooms for 5 nights (27/4-2/5/2011), since 21st of January, they gave us backside no view rooms [1st of them (No 66) without a balcony and the 2nd one (No 67) as a long corridor], that they proudly called 'Superiors Double'. There wasn't possibility to change the room temperature (+ or -), bathroom without a curtain, not even a coffee / tea maker or a welcome small bottle of water. Overpriced soft drinks and water from the minibar (7-8 Euros the smallest one !). Nevertheless, when we asked for a hot camomile, that they brought immediately, they didn't charge us, although it cost 8 Euros !! Try ‘'PAUL'’ in 78-80 Champs Elysees Av. (3 Euros for a grand coffee and 4,50 for a real French banquette sandwich). Excellent reception staff, perfect cleanliness and 3-4 minutes walking from Champs Elysees Av. and ‘’George V’’ metro station.
I have booked a room a the Hotel de Sers. Anybody stayed there before?
Most of the reviews on www.tripadvisor.com were very favorable for this hotel. I think you've booked a winner.. and a great location, too. I'm putting it on my list for next year.. thanks!
