Around the corner of Sacre Ceur

I and my friend chose the hotel because it has a very centric location. It's just around the corner of the metro station Barbés-Rochechouart (Metro line 4 & 2) and really close to Sacre Ceur and the artistic area of Montmartre.
The facilities are very basic, but we knew that beforehand because it is just a 1* Hotel. The rooms are rather small and not very modern (except for a new TV-screen), bathroom as well very basic, but okay. If you don't expect too much luxury of the hotel's facilities I can really recommend the hotel: the location is good, staff is really nice, they serve good and big breakfasts and they have free wireless internet!
The reception is open 24h a day, so it is not a problem if you go out and come back home late. The area around the hotel is a bit cheap and there a plenty of bridal shops all around it, but if you go a bit further up to Montmartre you find lots of nice bars and cafes or if you go the other direction towards the center you will also find enough bakeries and some small shops which are open nearly 24h a day.
