No. 1 Location is good, Louvre museum is 8-10 minute walk, Opera too, Royal Palace is at the corner. Pyramides metro station is a 5-minute walk. A small grocer is almost in front of the hotel, walk right a bit down the road is a bakeshop that serves coffee, the hotel itself serves breakfasts, just have to inform them. Internet is also available in the reception, though if you need to transfer photos from your digital cameras, you have to go to Chabanais (I hope I got the name right) internet managed by a japanese girl, which is located near the hotel, about 3-minute walk.
No. 2 The room is very basic - double bed, desk, chair & lamp and a big clean bathroom/shower/toilet. Electric fan comes in handy during the daytime. The window is sound-proof so you never get to hear the cars down below. No elevator, but it's a small hotel so going up & down is not really that tiring if you're on the 2nd or 3rd floor.
No. 3 Friendly staff, ask Mr. Houcine from the reception for places and tips, etc.... he has answers to most queries...with genuine enthusiasm.
Small, basic but neat hotel in the center of most attractions
