Extremely budget accomodations!
My husband, best friend and I booked this place through our travel agent. We were initially happy with this hotel. Good location and a charming pastry shop next door. We had a triple room with views out onto a lovely street. We did enjoy the breakfast which was included in the rates.
However we requested more towels several times and I ended having to dry myself with a very stiff hand towel. Also my husband and I caught scabies, UGH!! We stayed for 3 nights and didn't show symptoms until we were on our plane home. Our doctor said it could have been bacteria from either the towels or the bed linens. Very painfully lesson, we now only book 4 star and up and bring our own sheets, or at least ask for new sheets. Please book at your own risk.
Unique Quality: Centrally located, good breakfast and nice city views.

A Trip to the Opera
A very nice, olde-world style hotel. Clean, comfy and cheap.
Unique Quality: This hotel is in the 2nd aronissement (v. near the city centre), but was the same price as a hotel right out on the outskirts of Paris. Most major attractions were within walking distance of the hotel, so we save a lot on travel expenses.
