Paris - next week...just a few questions:)
hello everyone....
My boyfriend and I will be staying at the Melia Royal Alma. Has anyone stayed here?
Also, we are planning to go and see the Moulin Rouge on Sunday. Does anyone have any tips as far as this event goes?
How much can we expect to spend on dinner or drinks there there? - and, do we have to eat, or can we just sit around??

Moulin Rouge: I and my aunt reserved the dinner/show package (Toulouse Lautrec menu). The food is not that good honestly. You get a choice of main courses such as chicken or fish. It includes a bottle of champagne for two people. It cost alot! Per person that particular menu was 150 euro.

However, we noticed that the dinner/show patrons were seated on the main floor nearer the stage. The drinks/show patrons were seated in the rows above the main floor.
You can dress semi-formally. They require you to check your coat no exceptions.
Alot of people have made comments about the show being pretty bad as they had high expectations. You cannot compare the Moulin Rouge show to an opera or a theater show. It's just a variety show but it's surprisingly good.
