Room on the small side with totally inadequate insulation for the window. Double glazing would have been welcomed, instead you have to make do with the noise from the very busy rue de Richelieu.
The wake up call system via the phone was out of synch and woke me up almost an hour too early. When told, reception said, oh well, it's better to use the TV system, they could have told me first!
Don't bother with teh breakfast, you can get better for a third of the price in any decent cafe. To charge 18 euros for the slow service and very restricted choice in the buffet is borderline scandalous.
In summary, don't bother to stay here unless your job is paying for it and you need this precise location. Even then, I'm sure there are some better hotels around!
Good location for the Grands Boulevards. Very close to the Bourse area and just a stroll from Les Halles, Rivoli etc...
Good starting point t explore the 'passages' and a vast area of central Paris, mixing rich & poor blocks and a bit away from the usual tourist masses.
