Mercure Porte d'Orleans Paris

Although the location of the hotel is not near to the town centre, the nearby Metro and train stations allows stayers to roam Paris with ease. The breakfast spread for tour group is good with plenty of `healthy' food. However, it appears that the varieties at the `European' bar are more.... As for nearby restaurants for food, there are plentiful except they seem to open at certain time of the day. However, if one gets hungry, one can walk to the nearby Carrfour to buy instant noodles, sandwiches, bread or biscuits.

The hotel allows `left baggage' service and the staff are helpful.

I stayed a couple of days during business in the Montrouge area, and was not particularly impressed. A bit worn down bathroom and standard in general. Got stuck in the elevator because it didn't align entirely with the floor. Other elevator was under maintenance....
Hotel Restaurant was fairly allright, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Directions: From Porte D'Orleans, head towards the Periferique, cross the Periferique, take one left and a right. About 1.8km's from Denfert Rocherau (on the RER B from CDG).
