My wife and I will be taking a short (4 days) vacation in Paris next week. We've been offered the below hotels and are having a hard time choosing one.... Does anyone know any of them?
Thanks a lot!!
The hotel list:
(1) Relais Mercure Raspail – 207, BOULEVARD RASPAIL,MONTPARNASSE
(2) Elysees De Paris - 19 AVE. DE WAGRAM PARIS PARIS 75017
(3) France Albion - 11 RUE NOTRE-DAME DE LORETTE
(4) Ibis Avenue Ditalie - 15 Bis Avenue D Italie Paris, France 75013 Fr
(5) Littre - 9 RUE LITTRE PARIS F-75006
(6) Claridge Champs - 74 AVENUE DES CHAMPS ELYSEES
The hotel Ibis range are very good, good standards and they are also linked to Novotel. Not tried any of the others I'm afraid....
Choices 5 and 6 would be in the neighborhoods closest to tourist sights. The Claridge Champs is lovely on the outside. I've never been inside, but the neighborhood is beautiful and there are lots of shops and cafés nearby. It is also close to the George V Metro station so you can easily get anywhere in Paris.
The Littre is not quite as pretty from the outside but is also in a nice neighborhood not too far from the Luxembourg Gardens and near the Montparnasse Bienvenue Metro station.
If you look at the last two digits of the hotel zip code, it will give you the arrondissement where the hotel is located. My personal favorites are the 6th, 5th and 4th but that is just me.
