Considering the Novotel Bagnolet in Paris?
A VT member wrote the following comment about visiting Paris:

One evening on the way back to my hotel I wanted to buy a bottle of wine. I went into one place and got screamed at and thrown out. I walked down the street a bit and tried again and got the same reaction. At the third place I tried, I walked in and got a big hug and a kiss on the cheek from the proprietor. It was a strange experience, but I finally got my bottle of wine.
