This hotel was fantastic! The location was great, the rooms very emaculate and quite substantially sized, and the staff was wonderful. We had two double rooms which were located on the third and fourth floors. One of my only complaints is that the elevator was not working for any of the time that we were there. A very small breakfast of coffee and croissants was included in the price. One of my fellow travellers experienced a very cold shower on one of the mornings, but all of ours were hot. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet, although there were not many restaurants nearby with English menus. Across the street is a fantastic bakery and down the block is a small store which sells wine and some food. You can easily walk to the Metro stops and to many main attractions, including: the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero, and Musee d'Orsay. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

What would be the most convenient and less expensive way for four people to go from CDG to: 49, Rue de Bourgogne (Hotel Du Palais Bourbon).
Aprox. arrival time to CDG: 08:30 AM.
Thanks!!
with a taxi it should be app 45-60 eur, depending on the size and number of the baggages, if you can find a cab which u can fit in all four.
the RER ticket from the airport is 7,75 eur / person, plus you'll need to change to line 8, and to line 13, so that means 8 tickets (1,05 eur/pc, if u buy them in tens, from 1st july), that sums 39,4 eur.
the bus (Roissybus) from the airport is 8,30 (from 1st july) which takes u to the Opéra, where u'll have to take the tube, line 8, and to line 13, so that means 8 tickets again, which sums 42.
u decide :))
have a nice time,
goy
Goy, thank you very much for your response. I guess that a taxi will probably do. A bit more expensive but also more direct.
Goy, one more question. If we take the RER, where do we get off to change to line 8?
ehh, with the RER i mixed up:
u have to change from RER B at the Chatelet Les Halles to line 4, direction Porte d'Orleans
at the Montparnasse Bienvenue change to line 13, direction Saint Denis - Université
get off at Varenne
sorry, i was half asleep yesterday :) but the price stays the same :)
Thanks again, Goy. You are very kind.
no problem :) ask if u need any more help :)
